Need 2 Speed – Go Karts Reno Family Fun

If you have the Need for Speed head over to Need 2 Speed for some really fast indoor electric go karts. Electric go karts are no joke. They are the most popular style of go kart at rental go kart tracks these days.

You may be skeptical, but these go karts are no joke. They are high performance go karts for the masses. They are produced in Italy and built for speed. These machines go 45+ MPH!

At Need 2 Speed you do not need to bring any safety equipment. Head socks and helmets are provided for you. I would recommend wearing closed toed shoes for safety purposes.

The track is a fun but challenging lay out that will be sure to wear you out and test your skills. The barriers are specially designed to absorb impacts.

  • Passenger Must be 36″ tall
• Slick Track – Must be 14 years old and 60″ tall

Grand Adventure Land – Best Family Go Karts in Reno

Located on the grounds of the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is Grand Adventure Land. A family fun outdoor go kart track.

These go karts are gas powered and are “family speed”. These go karts are more set up for family outings not speed. If you are looking for super-fast go karts you want to head over to Need 2 Speed.

It is not a bad thing though. These go karts are perfect for young kids that want to race around. They have the option for a passenger as short as 3′. Most go kart locations do not offer passenger options anymore.

The tracks each cater to a different age group. The Road Course track is for the youngest kids at 12 years old, Slick track for the 14-year-old kids and the Drift track for the 16-year-old kids. Each track has its own challenges.
