The Best Go Karts Outer Banks! The Outer Banks are an interesting and fun place to visit. There is so much to do and see. The go karts on this list are spread out up and down the shores of the Outer Banks.

The Outer Banks are an amazing vacation stop for sure. We visited the Outer Banks during the offseason a couple years ago. Our drive took us right past Grave Digger’s Shop!

Requirements to Race

• Single seater go karts – drivers must be 56″ tall to drive
• Double go kart driver must be 16 years old and 56″ tall
• Junior Go Kart Racers must be 46″ tall

Corolla Raceway – Best Outer Banks Go Karts

In the northern outer banks sits Corolla Raceway. A Family fun gem located in the beautiful town of Corolla. We visited the Outer Banks a couple years ago and it truly is a fantastic family atmosphere that is a lot of fun.

At Corolla Raceway you will find three different go karting options for different age and size of kids/adults. I love the fact that Corolla Raceway offers Junior karts for the youngsters. Most of the time the younger kids get left out due to height or age. If your child is 46″ or taller, they can race the junior karts!

Along with the go karts they can play in the arcade or bang around on the bumper cars! If you get hungry there are plenty of restaurants around. We ate at La Dolce Vita right next door. Great Italian food with fantastic service!

2. Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts

Requirements to Race

• Must be 58″ tall to drive alone
• Children under 54″ can ride with an accompanied parent
• Must be 48″ tall to drive the bumper cars

Frisco Family Go Karts – Go Karting Outer Banks

Further South in the Outer Banks is Frisco Mini Golf & Go Karts. A perfect family fun outing. They feature two different go kart tracks. One for adults and one for younger kids. Young kids can also ride as a passenger in a double go kart.

The beach is fun but, some days you need a break.

Maybe you got a really bad sunburn?

Maybe a crab bit your but? Whatever excuse you need to get away and race some go karts works for me!

When finished racing there is an arcade and mini golf to cap off a really fun day.

3. Paradise Go Karts

Requirements to Race

• Must be 10 Years old and 56″ tall to drive a single seat go kart
• Must be 18 years old to drive a double seat go kart
• Passenger must be 4 years old to ride in a double go kart

Paradise Go Karts – Go Karting Outer Banks

Right in the heart of the Outer Banks is Paradise Go Karts. This is a Family Fun adventure for visitors to the Outer Banks. They have single seat go karts for kids older than 10 and double seat go karts for kids older than 4.

These are electric go karts and they are outdoors. Enjoy the warm salty air as you race around at Paradise Go Karts. When all wrapped up with the go karts hop over to the mini golf, bumper cars, arcade or concession bar!

4. Full Throttle Speedway

Requirements to Race

• Double Go Kart – Must be 16 Years old to drive and the passenger must be at least 2 years old and under 51″ tall
• Single Go Kart drivers must be 52″ tall to drive
• Junior Go Kart Racers must be 42″ tall to drive

Full Throttle Speedway – Go Karts OBX

Another great go karting experience in the Outer Banks is Full Throttle Speedway. With two different tracks to choose from and different go karts you will be sure to have a blast. This track has been proven to be a lot of fun for families of all ages.

There are single, double and kid karts that all kids can race too! The two tracks are shaped like a peanut and a figure 8. Of course, the figure 8 is not demo derby style. There is a bridge in the middle that allows safe passage.

You will also find mini golf right next door. Be sure to call and check to see if they are open. If you are visiting in the cooler winter months, they will most likely be closed for the season.

5. Fun World Motorsports

Requirements to Race

• Rookie Drivers must be 48″ tall
• Single Drivers must be 55″ tall
• Drivers of double go karts must be at least 16 years old
• Be sure to tie up long hair
• Avoid loose fitting clothing

Fun World Motorsports – Go Karting Emerald Isle

Even Further South sits Fun World Motorsports. A family fun go kart racing track. Go karting and beach vacations are like peaches and cream, peas and carrots, old bay and blue crabs. It just works.

At Fun World Motorsports they offer three types of go karts that let every age group have some fun. Rookie Drivers, Single Adult Drivers and Double Go Karts for the younger kids.

The track has challengingcorners and fun slopes that add to the thrill of the already fast go karts. The go karts are gas powered and will entertain for hours!
