K1 Speed – Fastest Indoor Go Karts
K1 Speed is the most popular nationwide indoor go kart experience. This is for good reason too. They have provided an extremely fast go kart on some challenging go kart tracks.
What makes these go karts special are the high torque high speed go kart motors. The acceleration will suck you into the seat.
The go karts have 20 Horsepower electric motors capable of reaching speeds of 45 mph!
Requirements to Race
To strap into one of these bad boys you need to follow some rules.
- Min. height of 48″ (4′) for Junior Racers
- Min. height of 58″ (4′ 10″) for Larger/Faster Go Karts
- Closed toe shoes
- Long hair and loose clothing secured
- Must wear a helmet (helmets and helmet socks will be provided)
Safety is the up most importance when racing. Please be respectful to other racers and the employees as they look out for your safety. Meeting the minimum required height is one of the standards to race. You must also be able to safely control the go kart.

The Track – Outdoor Go Karts
The track is a fantastic place to take the family while on your Myrtle Beach Vacation. This Family Fun Park is the perfect get away to have some fun other than at the beach.
The go karts are raced outdoors and on some pretty tricky tracks. The Wild Woody is a three and a half story winding track from top to bottom. The Mighty Myrtle also has some exciting drops and turns that are super fun.
Why the Point System?
The point system gives you flexibility in what attractions you would like to do. Instead of purchasing a ride and realizing you do not want to do that you can simply walk away and scan your point card elsewhere.

How do the Wristbands/Passes work?
The all you can ride wristband is a great way to take advantage of allthe go karts they have to offer. There are seven go kart tracks at Broadway Grand Prix! Most venues have one or maybe two go kart tracks.
The cost of a $50 wristband might sound like a lot. If you have multiple kids this can add up very quickly! But, for $50 they can race all day long! Some go kart tracks charge up to $25 dollars per ride.
You will get your money’s worth for sure.
Broadway Grand Prix – Outdoor Go Kart Tracks
There are seven go kart tracks at Broadway. Lets take a look at each one for more information.
- Grand Prix Pro Track – Double Pro Kart (2 seater): 60” and drivers license to drive, 40” to ride. Pro Kart: 60” to drive Jr. Pro Kart: 48” to drive
- High Bank Oval – Double Family Kart (2 seater): 60” and drivers license to drive, 40” to ride Speed Kart: 54” to drive Jr. Kart: 48” to drive
- Speed Racer – Drivers must be at least 60″ tall.
- Slick Track – Drivers must be at least 60” tall.
- Family Track- Double Family Kart (2 seater): 60” and drivers license to drive, 40” to ride Speed Kart: 54” to drive Jr. Kart: 48” to drive
- Junior Racer – Drivers must be at least 48” tall.
- Kids Track – Must be 40” – 47″ to drive
As you can see there is a go kart and go kart track for every age and size! Go karting is a family sport and should be enjoyed by everyone!
Other than the Go Karts
Other than the go karts Broadway Grand Prix does have more to offer. There is mini golf, bumper cars, arcade and a Kids Zone dedicated to the little ones.

When you get hungry there is a snack bar. Located in the arcade is the Grand Prix Cafe. Burgers, pizza, onion rings, wraps and subs to ice cream and sundaes!

Wild Water & Wheels – Go Karts Myrtle Beach
Wild Water and Wheels is a beautiful combination of a water park and a go kart track. There is so much to do and at this place.
There are three go kart tracks to choose from at Wild Water and Wheels
Slick Track – Cars will drift on a slick surface. Must be 54” tall to drive.
Speed Racers – Must be 56” tall to drive.
Family Racer – One Seater (Intermediate Cart) – Must be 48” tall.
Two-Seater – Driver must be 54” tall and passenger must be 42” tall.

Ocean Isle Go-Kart Track – Myrtle Beach Go Karts
Looking for some family fun in Myrtle beach? Ocean Isle Go-kart Track has it!
The single and double seater go karts ensure everyone gets in a go kart to have a good time. The track is unique concrete sprint track with some trick curves. The double apex corners and long straights with challenge your skills.
Pairing with the go karts are the batting cages. Open seven days a week so you can be sure to get a chance to go ride.
OIB Rules and Safety
