Xtreme Zone – The Racer’s Destination
Xtreme Zone is another high-speed racing hot spot for Philly fans. Xtreme Zone features gas go karts. Gas go karts are my personal preference.
Gas go karts have a different feel while racing. It is a feeling you will need to experience to truly understand the difference. Gas go karts rely more on momentum as the engine may need to take time to recover once RPMs are lost. While electric go karts can apply power all at once.
Due to the gas go karts there are some safety precautions that need to be taken care of. For example, the fumes that the engine put out need to be exhausted from the building. This means fans bringing fresh air in and fans pushing engine exhaust out.
This can result in a cold experience during the winter. Be aware of this so you can dress accordingly.
There is light food and drinks offered to keep you from getting hangry. If you can’t win on the track, maybe try another attraction they offer. Ax throwing and a VR racing simulator!

Hardcore Racing – Chester County Raceway
Chester County Raceway is outdoor racing go kart facility. This is an old school go kart track with some old school go karts. I would say this is a vintage go kart race track. Vintage just meaning the go karts are of an older style.
Just like car enthusiast, go carters like what they like. What they like ma be 20-30 years old go kart chassis with old Yamaha engines. Thats what is great about go kart racing.
