Go Kart racing is a hard sport. Physically, mentally, and emotionally you will be tested. On top of that financially you will have to fork out a bunch of dough to buy a go kart, trailer, tires, fuel, oils, parts and the list goes on.

Andretti Indoor Karting – Go Karts Near Houston
These are high powered, high performance indoor electric go karts. These go karts are super fun, fast and challenging!
I have raced electric go karts just like these and can vouch for the quality of these go karts. Electric go karts are great because of the instantaneous torque they can put out.
Unlike a gas go kart engine where you need to be in the powerband to produce the highest amount of torque, electric motors can go from nothing to everything as fast as you can push the throttle!

Track 21 – Indoor Family Go Karts Houston
Track 21 is another fantastic go karting facility in Houston. The go karts are fast, and the tracks are top notch. This is a great place for families to come and race go karts. The junior Go Karts do not have an age limit but a height restriction. So, If your child is at least 52″ tall they can race!
The go karts are what sets Track 21 apart from surrounding competitors. The Sodi SR5 go karts are fast.. really fast! Pushing speeds of 45 mph! The junior go karts are a little slower but for good reason.
The tracks are also carefully designed and meticulously laid out to challenge the best racers out there.
You think go kart racing is easy? Take a trip to Track 21 and let me know how tired your arms are once finished racing!
Go karts aren’t the only attraction at Track 21. You can have fun with some other great activities like mini golf, laser tag and VR Tour.
Be sure to check in online to save yourself some time. Nothing worse than having to wait. Compound that with some race hungry kids and you will be wishing you checked in online!

Just because this is the 5th track on the list it does not mean it is last. Speedsportz Racing Park is an outdoor rental go kart track for the public. If you are looking for a way to get started in go kart racing, this is it!
At Speedsportz you will be able to experience real go kart racing. It is set up as a “arrive and drive”, so you do not need to schedule anything. The rental go karts are great, but the Professional Go Kart Racing Experience is the best.
The Pro experience cost $249, and you can race 125cc ROTAX Tag go karts. These bad boys push speeds of 70+ MPH! This is a great way to enter the sport of go kart racing. When compared to the cost of a start-up operation for go kart racing, $249 is very cheap.
