Go Kart Track – Best Go Karts in DC

Just Northeast of DC still inside the 495 beltway is Go Kart Track. The name is similar to the Washington Football team. Simple, descriptive and to the point.

A storied past makes this go kart track a staple in the DC community. The track has been around since the 60s! Go Karting was fairly new in the 50s so having a rental go kart track that early in the game is pretty awesome.

This is a great outdoor gas go kart track. This location is also family centered offering double go karts for kids at least 3 years old and 36″ tall.

The go karts are not race quality, but they are super fun. This is also a great way to celebrate a kid’s birthday. Forget chuckie cheese, go race some go karts!

Autobahn Indoor Speedway – Go Karts near DC

The fastest, most intense and coolest go karts around are located at Autobahn just outside of DC in Dulles. The fully electric go karts are super-fast. Reaching speeds of up to 50mph!

I have raced the go karts multiple times and I love them. I wish I could race them all the time. The go karts handle great, have intense acceleration and for the most part all of the go karts are equal.

• Must be 8 years old and 54″ tall to drive by yourself
• Driver of a Double must be 16 years old
• Rider must be at least 2 years old
• If eligible to drive a single kart you cannot be a passenger

Crofton Go Kart Raceway – Go Karts in DC

Get out of the and enjoy a huge outdoor go kart track. Crofton Go Kart Raceway is an outdoor gas go kart track in Crofton, MD. A short drive about 30 minutes from DC.

Crofton Go Kart Raceway uses 6.4 HP Honda engines. That’s 200cc of four stroke power moving you around the 1/2 mile go kart track!

There are go karts for kids as young as 2 years old! As a passenger they can get a taste of go karting at the young age of 2!

The pricing is simple. 1 lap costs 1 ticket. You can buy as many laps as you want. When the track is 1/2 mile long, 1 lap is a long time. Plenty of twists and turns to race around.
