The location is just South East of Albany. Only 10 minutes from the center of Albany!
The single go karts are for older kids and adults. If you are over 54″ tall you can race the single go karts. Over 16 years old and you can drive a passenger. If you have a child that is over 3 years old they can race the mini go karts!

Anytime you have a short track oval with full cage mini sprint go karts I am game!
I have raced go karts like these before at similar tracks and they are so much fun. The track is a little slick which creates a fair amount of oversteer.
Checkers Out Speedway is a family owned and operated go kart track that gives you the hometown feel with big time go karts.

Muscle Motors Speedway – Go Karts near Albany, NY
Ready for a winding, intense, high speed go kart race! Head over to Muscle Motors Speedway just outside of Albany! About 40 minutes straight West of Albany.
You can race some really fun go karts on a beautiful go kart track. The track is beautifully maintained with well manicured curbing, lines and pit area.
The only downfall is there are no walk-ins. Due to COVID Muscle Motors had to change gears and switch to a group/party location or you have to schedule a time to race.
The upside is you can have an entire go kart track rented out to your own private party. Downside is you don’t have the flexibility to walk up and go racing!
Keep checking in though! As the demand for go karts increases they may change back to a walk in base go kart track.
