Accelerate Indoor Speedway – Fastest Go Karts in Chicago
Accelerate Indoor Speedway boasts the fastest go karts in Chicago that you can rent. The 20 HP electric motors move these go karts up to 50 MPH! That is pretty amazing for some rental go karts.
Besides the go karts there are a lot of activities to do. Something for everyone young and old. There is a full restaurant to eat and drink once finished go kart racing. For the little ones there is an arcade to entertain. For the old ones there is a full bar. If dad or grandpa gets worn out they can sit down and have a beer. We all know moms wouldn’t quit!
The two coolest additions are the Axe throwing and the two VR arenas now open. I have done axe throwing at Autobahn Indoor Speedway in Jessup, MD. It is a ton of fun. Difficult for me at first but once you stick a few its game on.
The Virtual Reality Addition features two arenas to choose from. Reclaim and Chaos Jump.

Just 15 miles from Downtown Chicago is another great family fun go kart track. Play and Spin is a very conveniently located go kart track for anyone in the Chicago area.
Play and Spin have a 6,000 sqft track. You compete with seven other racers at a time. The go karts are electric producing high-performance torque filled fun. You must be 54” tall to operate the go karts. It will cost you 10 dollars for one go kart race. They also have two seater go karts so your little ones can ride along as well.
